It can be seen from the above table that the gyroscope & accelerometer and electronic compass in Huawei P9 use the common ST LM6DS3 and AKM AK09911. Rear dual camera
The Huawei P9 uses the Leica SUMMARIT series of dual lenses for better brightness and clarity. Laser ranging sensor
Huawei P9 supports three types of focus modes: laser focus (suitable for close-up photography), contrast focusing (for complex scenes), and deep focus (suitable for deeper depth of field). At the moment of taking pictures, P9 will automatically select the most suitable and fastest focusing method. One of the highlights of its focus is the addition of a laser focus function, which adds a laser range sensor to the side of the rear dual camera.
Laser focusing is to calculate the distance of the target by recording the time difference between the infrared laser from the emission to the reflection. The advantage is that it can be applied even in low light conditions, but the disadvantage is that the target distance can not be too large, but the contrast does not exist in the target. The problem of distance is that the focus is not good in low light conditions. With the addition of laser focusing, the Huawei P9's rear camera can achieve more accurate skin color reduction, dynamic range and detail in the backlight environment, while night shooting is also more powerful.
