1. Reasons for failure:
(1) The motor power supply is out of power; the fuse is blown; the power cord is broken or there is a bad contact.
(2) The button switch or starting device is stuck or the control circuit is in poor contact.
(3) The overload protection device operates to cut off the circuit.
2. Maintenance method:
(1) Use a low-voltage test pencil to measure whether the three-phase power supply has electricity. If there is no voltage, connect the power supply first.
(2) Use a low-voltage test pencil to test the fuse of the power distribution starter equipment to check whether all three phases are live. If a certain phase or a certain two-phase or three-phase fuse is blown, you should be careful when replacing the fuse with the same specification. Observe to see if the brightness of the charged pile head of each phase of the insurance is the same with the test pencil to prevent false judgments caused by induced electricity.
(3) Check the line for poor contact, and after finding the fault, scrape the wire and connect it again.
(4) Check whether the mechanical pull-in action device is flexible. If it is stuck, reassemble it and add lubricating oil in some places, then disconnect the power supply, check the switch and button with a multimeter, and see if the normally open point can be pressed to close. Whether the normally closed point can be switched on and reset, and whether the contact between the starting device and the motor winding is good.
(5) First, check whether the current adjusted by the overload protection matches the rated current of the motor properly. If it is not suitable, adjust it before resetting the thermal relay action mechanism.
