This robot bending system is provided by Shandong Automation for Shandong Ruifan Machinery. The robot bending solution consists of KUKA KR90 and Yawei PBH series CNC sheet bending machine, and the feeding positioning mechanism and the plate gripper are designed according to the needs. The robot system delivered to replace the workers for automated bending and loading and unloading operations, the KUKA robot system and Yawei machine tools have synchronized and coordinated operations, fully meeting the actual production needs.
I. Project background:
Prior to the renovation, the plate loading and unloading of the Ruifan factory's bending process has always retained the traditional manual transfer method. The latest sheet material requiring bending operation is a large-size carbon steel sheet of 3 mm thick and 3 m×1.5 m. The bending operation of the product is difficult to perform manually, requires strong manual labor, and poses a potential safety hazard risk.
In order to reduce production costs and improve product quality, users hope to provide an automated solution within the economic investment of acid, and to ensure that the modified equipment has a high degree of stability, reliability and automation.
After communicating the needs of users, Think Automation found another potential demand: the competitive changes in the equipment market require that the modified system has a certain flexible production capacity - to adapt to the rapid switching between multi-batch and small-batch production. As a result, the two sides reached a unified transformation plan idea - using multi-joint robot loading and unloading.
Second, potential problems:
1. Based on economic practicability considerations, the cost control of the entire automation transformation project is strict. Think Automation's primary consideration is to achieve optimal system construction within a limited budget.
2. Convenience of loading and unloading: Since the case does not involve automatic production connection, the incoming metal plate incoming material is manually concentrated, which needs to consider how to deal with the positioning error formed after manual feeding.
3. The metal sheet is finally used for the sheet metal parts of the fruit processing machinery, so the entire processing needs to strive to achieve the scratch-free operation target.
4. Under the premise that the CNC system DELEM is not completely open, the robot bending action is synchronized with the machine tool feeding action.
5. The bending machine has a low working surface, and the robot operation needs to ensure a certain net height.
