What problems will you encounter during daily use?

The vacuuming robot Roomba will bring you a clean revolution. With just one button, Roomba can remove all the dust, hair and other debris from the floor, including the corner of the wall and the bottom of the furniture. So what problems will you encounter during daily use? What if it is solved?

First, make an abnormal sound

1. Open the Roomba brush cage and remove the brush. Run the robot and listen carefully to the brush motor sound. Whether you hear a click or a click when the brush is not installed.

2. Repair the main brush & brush shaft: Remove the yellow hair brush shaft and clean the hair wrapped around it.

Second, an error message occurs during runtime

1. Does the error occur on a darker surface?

2. Check if the side brush is turning? Clean the wheel

3. Close the Roomba and flip it to the back. Wipe the six cliff sensing windows with a clean, dry cloth.

4. Run Roomba to see if the error still exists on the flat ground.

Third, can not automatically return to the seat to charge

1. Check the environmental factors affecting the recharge:

Is the charging dock placed on an open and flat floor, close to the wall, away from steps or gaps? Are there other infrared sensing accessories (such as virtual walls, virtual wall beacons, other charging docks) placed nearby? Causes interference from the charging base?

2. Clean the charging base and the contacts on the bottom of the Roomba that are in contact with the base with a dry cloth.

3. Place the Roomba at a distance of 5 feet (about 1.5 meters) towards the base. Start Roomba and press the "Self-seat" button. Roomba will try to get back to the charger. Check if Roomba can successfully charge back to the charging stand?

4. Is the Roomba's infrared sensor working?

5. Check if the charger is damaged. Check if the charger indicator is steady green. Does the indicator on the charging base flash green every 4 seconds, or keep it green?

Fourth, the garbage box does not absorb dust

1. Cleaning the garbage box and filter

2. If the filter is broken, replace the filter. If the filter frame is not on the frame, reinstall it correctly.

3. Reinstall the trash and run Roomba. Place your hand on the back of the trash box and feel if there is any airflow.

5. Reversal and rotation

1. Does it happen in the dark ground?

2. Does the side brush rotate normally? The installation of the side brush may also block the cliff sensor.

3. Turn the Roomba to the bottom and wipe the cliff sensor window with a clean, dry cloth.

Six, around a wheel

1. Press the wheel inside and outside several times to clean and shake off the dust and debris stuck in the wheel.

2. Turn the wheel by hand to make sure there are no obstructions. Make sure that the resistance of each wheel is similar.

Seven, the machine automatically restarts

1. Make sure the battery is installed correctly and check that the side brush is not stuck in the battery door.

2. Wipe the battery contacts with the clean contact lens and the battery contacts on the machine.

3. Use a pen to bend the two battery contacts upwards to make the battery more accessible.
