Zhongguancun in March: Consumer price index rose by 5.80%. Japan’s earthquake affected China’s electronics market

According to the latest China's Zhongguancun Electronic Information Products Index released by the Ministry of Commerce, the price index for the electronic market in March was 88.85 points, up 0.27 points month-on-month and down 3.6 points year-on-year. In March, the electronic market sentiment index was 1050.90, down 4.01 points month on month and up 54.23 points year-on-year. Due to the earthquake in Japan and the consumer digital and storage products in the market, the price index for digital cameras, flash memory cards, and U-disks increased by 5.80%, 2.40%, and 0.39%, respectively.
