Its production and operation activities are mainly concentrated in Zhuhai headquarters and Hebei Wu'an Park.
After the suspension of the Wu'an Campus in Hebei Province, the reporter was informed in the Yinlong Zhuhai headquarters investigation that Yinlong’s new energy vehicle production continues. However, after shouting the slogan “Cancel the Red, May All-You-can-Buy,†Yinlong’s proud battery business has basically stagnated for more than a month, and a considerable number of employees work to clean up during work hours.
Car business started normally
The Sanzao Town of Zhuhai, located at the border of the Pearl River to the sea, has been a land that has been lagging far behind. In recent years, land development has accelerated, and there has been a steady stream of dump trucks.
In recent years, the Jinwan District Government has defined the new energy industry as a core industry. Here, there are nearly 20 auto and accessories companies such as ZTE New Energy, Mitsui, and Liepa, but it is located in Jinhu, 15 kilometers away from Jinwan Airport. In 2008, Wei Yincang and Yinlong built a new energy industrial park in Zhuhai, which became the first step for Zhuhai to enter the new energy automotive industry. In July last year, Yinlong announced that it will add a total investment of about 20 billion yuan to build Yinlong New Energy Industrial Park and its national headquarters, plan about 2400-5000 acres of land, and create 100 billion enterprises.
On the afternoon of May 25, Jinwan District was hot and the reporter went to the headquarters of Yinlong Zhuhai. The Yinlong Industrial Park on Jinhu Road is a factory area of ​​Yinlong's first land acquisition of 330 acres in Jinwan District. It is a square with a length and width of about 460 meters. Construction of an administrative building, Guangtong new energy vehicle R&D, manufacturing, testing plant, Yinlong battery production plant, warehouse, staff quarters and so on.
Walking along the industrial park, many private employees of Yinlong staff were parked on the roadside of the park. Forklift trucks were loading and unloading goods in the factory area and many staff members were walking around. It can be seen that the start of work here is normal. At the entrance of the factory, from time to time there are vehicles driving out road tests, many of which are affixed to Zhuhai buses. Obviously, this is a vehicle prepared for Zhuhai Bus Group. Public information shows that the local bus group is a major customer of Yinlong. The business model is mainly leasing. In 2013, Zhuhai Bus ordered 500 Yinlong pure electric buses. Since then, Shijiazhuang Bus has ordered 900 units of Yinlong pure electric buses.

Battery business orders drop sharply
Zhuhai Yinlong’s automobile production is all normal. Is it possible that Yinlong’s suspension of production in the Wu’an Park in Hebei is only a stoppage of operations in certain areas?
After seeking unsuccessful interviews in the park, the reporter encountered Hu Shun (a pseudonym), a male employee dressed in the “Yinlong New Energy†tooling outside the factory area. He just walked out of the Yinlong Campus and took a paper in hand. After the interview, he learned that he had just gone through the formalities for resignation, and that his resignation report was in hand. Over the past year or so, he was on the Yinlong battery production line.
Why did you leave during the "Great Red May"? Hu Shun said that the reason for the resignation was that there was a problem with Yinlong’s battery business, which was almost halved in the past two months.
"Guangtong automobile production continues, but the Yinlong battery business has a problem. The battery business has started very little over the past month or so. From Monday to Friday, production line employees spend most of their time cleaning and warehouses have a lot of batteries. Hu Shun said that the lack of start-up directly led to a decline in workers' income. Because the income is piece-rate, the normal monthly salary started last year was about 4,000 yuan, and the income in the last two months was only 2,000 yuan.
Afterwards, the reporter interviewed a coworker of Hu Shun. He also confirmed to the reporter the problem of the battery business in the Yinlong Zhuhai Campus. He said: “Hebei Yinlong’s battery business stopped working after the year. In March, more than 400 workers were transferred from Hebei Yinlong to Zhuhai headquarters. In March, Yinlong’s battery production line workers in Zhuhai reached 700. As a result, employees have continued to walk a lot. Some of the people who came from Hebei have gone back. In May, they left dozens of people. Now there are more than 300 people left."
According to Yinlong official website, at present, there are nine industrial parks in Yinlong, including industrial parks in Zhuhai, Chongqing, Shijiazhuang, Chengdu, Lanzhou, Tianjin, Nanjing, and Luoyang, as well as the United States Ao Ti Nanotechnology Co., Ltd.
Yinlong has a production line of 4000 cylindrical lithium titanate power batteries per day in the Jinwan Industrial Park of Zhuhai, a 400-pack Lithium titanate power battery production line for daily production of Lithium Nitrate, and 5 pieces of Nissan 2,500 and a production line at its industrial park in Wuan, Hebei. Suddenly into the winter
In 2016, when Gree wanted to acquire Yinlong, it showed investors a very optimistic development situation. Yin Long has promised that actual net profits in 2016, 2017 and 2018 will be no less than 720 million yuan, 1 billion yuan and 1.4 billion yuan respectively.
The reality is not optimistic. In 2017, Yinlong Electric Bus had orders for more than 6,000 vehicles and actually sold 3355 pure electric buses. The sales data for 2016 was 6200 vehicles. According to the unaudited annual report, Yinlong's operating revenue in 2017 was 8.752 billion yuan, net profit was 268 million yuan, and net profit decreased by 67.94% year-on-year.
In the first quarter of this year, Yinlong orders are still shrinking. The data shows that from January to March in 2018, the sales volume of new energy buses nationwide increased by 328% year-on-year, and the revenue and sales volume of the passenger car industry showed a double growth trend.
From January to March this year, China's bus companies ranked seventh in sales of new energy passengers and buses. Yinlong's sales were 499 and 475, respectively. In March, sales of new energy buses were only 68 buses sold for 45 vehicles. Sales of Zhuhai Yinlong suffered a winter.
This is quite different from Gree's prediction of Yinlong. Why does this happen? Yinlong new energy vehicle competitiveness problems? In addition to the market's dispute over the Yinlong automobile lithium titanate technology line, the adjustment of new energy vehicle subsidy policies may have a more direct impact.
Before 2016, new energy buses will often receive huge subsidies. After the bus industry was once the hardest-hit area for “defraudingâ€, the government reorganized and adjusted the subsidies for the new energy auto industry. The subsidy for passenger cars has been further refined. After the subsidy ratio of the central and local governments was adjusted to 1:1, the local subsidy must not exceed 50% of the central government. Not only that, in the New Deal, the application conditions for 30,000 kilometers of operating mileage have also been increased, and supervision afterwards has become more stringent.
The policy adjustments have drastically changed the bus market situation. Yinlong's national subsidies for 2014, 2015 and 2016 were 55.5 million, 1.016 billion, and 2.235 billion yuan respectively, and accumulated over three years, exceeding 3 billion yuan, but the profits of the past few years Far below the above figures.
Bus driver: Frequent charging is too troublesome
In Zhuhai, the home of Yinlong, many electric buses built by Zhuhai Guangtong, a subsidiary of Yinlong subsidiary, can be found all the way.

According to the bus driver, the new energy vehicle manufactured by Guangtong has been operating since last year. The mileage of the battery support is about 30KM, and the bus runs about 20 kilometers. It basically needs to be charged every time it reaches the bus terminal. The charging time is about 15 minutes.
At Sanzao Bus Terminal, the reporter saw that all buses are new energy vehicles. In the station, there are 5 Yinlong charge piles. Each short-distance bus to the station needs to be charged. The 5 charge bits occupy most of the space of the entire station, but the charge still needs to wait in line. If the time conflicts, it may need Wait for half an hour to complete the charge.

Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the National Passenger Car Market Information Association, commented on the problem encountered by Zhuhai Yinlong, saying that the development of Yinlong's fast-filling lithium titanate was a bottleneck. This technology is still not generally optimistic about the industry, and the technical circuit problem is still the most problematic. The key investment choices can only be followed by rapid development in the direction of the mainstream. At present, the mainstream new energy technology is ternary lithium batteries.
