As early as April 2011, Mitsubishi Chemical began selling OLED lighting panels "VELVE" which can perform full color adjustment and color temperature adjustment, and can adjust the brightness in the range of 100 to 0%. The panel luminous efficiency of this product is 31. Lm/W (28 lm/W at the beginning of the release) with a brightness of 1000 cd/m2. The second-generation VELVE developed this time has improved performance, with luminous efficiency of 50 lm/W, brightness of 2000 cd/m2 (color temperature of 3000K), and color temperature of 2700K to 6500K. The panel size is relatively large, up to 15cm square. Sample shipments are now available and Mitsubishi Chemical plans to officially sell in the third quarter.
