Shenzhen LED Industry Standard Alliance yesterday took the lead in the mainland to issue two product standards for "indoor LED bulbs" and "indoor LED bulbs." This standard classifies the energy efficiency of indoor lighting fixtures, and regulates color temperature, color rendering index, and test methods, which helps to standardize the current chaotic Chinese LED interior lighting market and improve the technical level of indoor lighting in Shenzhen.
At present, there are few standards relating to the LED industry in the world, and they rarely involve the major components, technical processes, and key performance of the LED industry, and the standards for detection of corresponding indicators are also scarce. For this reason, enterprises have to produce more and more specifications of products, and some companies only manage more than 600 types of lamps, leading to more and more production lines out of control.
Shenzhen has been at the forefront of China in the development of industry standards. The Shenzhen LED Industry Standard Alliance was established in 2009 and has issued 17 industry standards.
In yesterday's (March 21st) release of the Shenzhen LED Industry Standard Alliance Standard, the Alliance revised the “Technical Specifications and Energy Efficiency Requirements of Shenzhen LED Road Lighting Products†developed in 2010, and for the first time general lighting The analog design software is combined with the actual measurement results as a means to consider the performance of LED street lamps.
It is understood that the newly issued standards will be implemented on the 30th of this month. The LED Industry Standards Alliance will, according to standards, certify products of enterprises and, if they meet the requirements, issue corresponding energy efficiency labels. According to previous standards, since 2010, the industry alliance has issued more than 40,000 energy efficiency labels for enterprises.
