In the middle or late October of last year, a military enterprise in Beijing proposed to Kaiyue Electric to develop and design an intelligent lighting system that is suitable for use in aircraft carrier simulation cabins. The intelligent lighting system is an area that Kaiyao Electric has never set foot in, and the aircraft carrier simulation cabin is a strange design environment. "With the rapid development and mutual penetration of computer technology, communication technology, and microelectronics technology, lighting control technology has made great progress, and lighting has entered the era of intelligent control." Lin Ruidao, manager of LED lamps division, said, therefore, Although the road to R&D is full of unknowns, the LED lamps division still accepts challenges.

At the end of October, deputy general managers of domestic sales, Liao Changyan and Lin Ruidao, rushed to the military enterprise to investigate. Lin Ruidao introduced that the functional positioning of each area in the aircraft cabin's simulation cabin is different, and the staff needs to work in different environments. "We must address the lighting needs of aircraft carriers in the simulated cabin to achieve the correct positioning of the intelligent lighting system." Lin Ruidao said.

Two days' investigation of Liao Changyan and Lin Ruidao ended, and the engineers of the LED Luminaire Division went to work. According to reports, a total of three engineers are responsible for the R&D, design and production of the project. Electronic engineer Xu Qian is one of them. Xu Qian introduced that the aircraft cabin simulation cabin total lighting is divided into three blocks, the simulation cabin as a whole, the combat command room and operations operations room. When a person is in a confined space, the same brightness of the light is prone to fatigue. Therefore, not only the brightness of the light changes with time, but also the color temperature. And this is a big design. At night time, brightness and color temperature must be adjusted to reduce staff fatigue. Considering that the aircraft carrier's analog cabin cannot always be in a state of tension, and the staff also needs leisure time, Xu Qian and his colleagues decided to set up a multi-effect colored light strip. The light strips can give off appropriate light during leisure or entertainment.

With the design concept, software is developed. Xu Qian told reporters that software development has been smooth, but it has encountered difficulties when designing structures. Xu Qian introduced that the entire lamp specification is 120 cm × 30 cm × 0.6 cm. The expression of straight white dots is very long, wide and thin, which can easily cause the bending of the lamp panel, which causes the LED lamp beads to fall off. Among the numerous lamps developed by the LED Lamps Division, side lighting technology is often used, but in the lamps of the intelligent lighting system, Xu Qian and colleagues decided to use the front lighting technology, the lamp beads spacing is relatively large, so that when lighting Dark areas are not formed, and it is not easy to cause the lamp beads to fall off. After nearly a month of debugging and production, Kaiyao Electric's first intelligent lighting system was officially completed.
