Vibration speed sensors are commonly used to measure bearing vibration and, in rare cases, to measure shaft vibration. When measuring the vibration speed, if the sensor is installed incorrectly or the installation is not strong, the measurement result may be distorted or the sensor may be damaged due to vibration. Therefore, we must carefully choose the installation method of the vibration speed sensor.
When the sensor is used to measure the vibration of the rotating shaft, the installation is usually carried out in the form of hand-holding, plasticine sticky water magnetic chuck fixing, bolt fixing and the like. In the temporary vibration measurement, most of them use the hand-held sensor. This method is flexible and easy to use. Especially when the number of vibration speed sensors is lacking and the sensor interchangeability is not good, it has special advantages. The disadvantage is that the test The error is relatively large and the work intensity is also large.
It is also convenient to stick the sensor with plasticine, and the correctness of the measurement result is much better than the hand-held effect. It should be noted that the plasticine cannot adhere the vibration speed sensor to the vertical plane and can only be fixed on the horizontal surface, for example, measuring the vertical, horizontal and axial vibration of the top of the bearing housing. When the bonding is firm and the frequency is 50 Hz, the maximum vibration of the method is 300 μm.
Another disadvantage of plasticine is that the bonding force is greatly affected by temperature. The higher and lower temperature will significantly reduce the bonding force, so it is not suitable for high and medium pressure rotors and reel wheels with high fixed temperature. The speed sensor measured in the bearing; when the cold start in winter, the bearing temperature is too low and should not be used.
The fixed speed sensor of the permanent magnet chuck is more convenient than the plasticine. At present, the permanent magnet sucker with the size of φ50 or 50mm*50mm can be manufactured in China, and its suction force can reach 196N. The vibration speed of 500g or less is fixed by the suction cup. The sensor is adsorbed on a horizontal surface and can measure up to 1000μm vibration. The disadvantage is that the surface of the bearing housing of the general unit is coated with mud or paint, which will cause the suction of the suction cup to decrease. Therefore, when the adsorption is on the vertical plane and the amplitude is large, the armrest should be assisted to prevent the sensor from falling off and falling.
Fixing the speed sensor directly on the bearing with bolts not only reliably measures the vibration in the three directions of the top of the housing, but also measures the vibration in both directions on the vertical plane. This method of installation is the strongest of the four mounting methods.
In short, the installation of the vibration speed sensor depends on the needs of the measurement. According to different working environments, the most suitable one of the above four methods is selected, so as to ensure the smooth progress of the measurement and reduce the measurement and test errors.
